Dr. Scott Gillin and Dr. Shakha Gillin
Our mission at The Warrior Clinic is to guide and empower individuals to have awareness and take control over the prevention and reversal of chronic disease in their lives.
We are practicing physicians. We have seen first hand how chronic disease is severely affecting our patients and our community. We have chosen to do our part to help fight this epidemic. We believe in empowerment. There is a solution. By addressing the root cause of the problem most chronic disease can be eliminated. The current medical system spends too much time and money treating symptoms. This just perpetuates the problem. As a Warrior you have the ability to control your own destiny.
Dr. Scott Gillin graduated from USF Medical School in 1993 and is a board-certified pediatric anesthesiologist practicing at the children’s hospital in San Diego. He lives an active lifestyle surfing, running, and doing CrossFit. He was introduced to CrossFit in 2015 and believes that proper nutrition and high intensity interval training are the ideal way to restore and maintain health.
Dr. Shakha Gillin graduated from UCSD Medical School in 1998 and is a board-certified practicing pediatrician. She is the co-founder of Coast Pediatrics Del Mar and Coast Pediatrics Carmel Valley. She has been an advisor for CrossFit since 2016 and is a contributing author for the American Academy of Pediatrics and the CrossFit Journal.
Remember you have the power to take your health into your own hands. Through screening you will become aware of your current state of health so you are able to make changes as needed. Chronic disease is preventable and reversible.
